It's Sew Sew

Custom Pony Plush - Alibaba - Commission

Between breaking my hand and getting my embroidery machine repaired, I have gotten so horribly behind on just about every commission I’ve gotten recently. Thankfully things seem to be on the mend and I’m getting things done a little faster than before, but there’s still a lot of work ahead of me to get done.

This little fella is completely hand sewn out of super soft minky with machine embroidered eyes and cutiemarks and a fabulous braided neck accessory.

Well it looks like I managed to hit 200 followers in the past couple of weeks and with Halloween right around the corner, I figured I would theme a giveaway to match!

All of the rules and information can be found below so don’t delay!
This giveaway is going to end October 25th!

October is Here!

Which means all of my Halloween lumas are back up for sale! Perfect for gifts for friends or yourself, these festive little guys have the perfect mix of spooky and cute!

Only available through October so get yours before they’re gone for another year! - Artistic Circus

I had to take my beloved embroidery machine to get repaired today. It’s been acting up quite a bit and I haven’t been able to get much for quality embroidery out of it the last few days so since it’s still under warranty, I figured it was about time to get it looked at and hopefully fixed.

That being said, I wont be able to do any projects involving embroidery until it gets back. Time for lumas, hats, and rice bags for a week.

Alright so I’m getting ready to put together my 200 Follower Giveaway, but I’m having a little trouble deciding what I should offer as prizes. So I figured I’d let you guys have a say in what you might like to see offered up to the winners ~

Keep in mind that I can’t do anything big (no custom ponies or specific character plushies) Below I’ve compiled a list of some of the things I’ve considered offering so if you have a preference or some idea I haven’t thought of, feel free to let me know. I’ll base my decision off what the majority picks or what I think will go over best!

Ideas ~

  • Scalemates
  • Lumas
  • Mario Shells
  • Bats
  • Hats
  • Pillows
  • Rice Bags

(( I’ll add to the list if I get any other good suggestion ~ ))

More monogram hand towels to keep everyone interested while my hand heals. I have been making these very slowly due to to my embroidery machine having some issues, but they’re all turning out really nice. I still have quite a few left to go, but three at a time seems like a good pace.

~ Handmade Rice Bags ~
To keep you all entertained while I slowly hobble my way through commissions and projects with a broken hand, I figured I’d post some of the little side projects I’ve been working on.
These are just a few of the rice heating pads I’ve made which started when I need a rice bag and couldn’t find a single one in any store I went to. They are made from simple cotton fabric and are stuffed with jasmine rice and lavender leaves (which makes them smell really nice when you heat them up)
I plan on selling them at an upcoming expo ~

I also just noticed that I hit 200 followers! I’ll be posting another giveaway to celebrate soon so keep an eye out ~

Due to my absolute stupidity, I managed to partially break my left hand the other day. I’m fine now and it’s supposed to heal pretty quickly, but needless to say, sewing is going to be a bit more time consuming than it usually is. I will still be attempting to get as much done as possible until everything heal, but fair warning that finished products may be a little behind schedule.

Now that I have finally gotten the right fabric and all of my embroidery files worked out, I can finally get to finishing all of the commissions sitting half finished in my sewing room.

I’ve got a lot of plushies that just needed one or two things so hopefully I’ll be able to fill your days with finished products soon ~

This little guy is completely hand sewn out of fleece with machine embroidered eyes and cutiemarks. Stand at about 14 inches tall.
