It's Sew Sew

~ Embroidered Baby Blanket - Gift ~

The neighbors just had their first baby and rather than go out and buy a blanket, I figured I would make them one myself. It was a nice chance to try and get familiar with my devil of a sewing machine. It took me less than an afternoon to make so perhaps I will do more in the future.

Machine sewn using double fold biased tape on super cuddle fabric. Machine embroidered with custom lettering and design and tied off with a little bow ~

~ Baby Blanket ~
I decided to try my hand at something a little different the other day since I have a piece of fabric too small to use for what I originally bought it for. Not to mention there’s lots of babies due around here in the near future so this will make a nice gift for one of them ~
This one is actually machine sewn (the seams would have been much straighter had I done it by hand, but oh well) and is simply a piece of softened fleece with an edge made of biased tape.

~ Little Litters Plush - July 2014 ~

After a short hiatus to catch up on the huge amount of orders we got during our One Year Anniversary Celebration, we are happy to announce the next bat in the Little Litters Collection!

The perfect twin to our previous bat, Blush, Chloe is hand sewn out of soft mint green fleece with white and green polka dot accents.

She’s only available until July 31st so get yours today!

Available for sale here ~ https://www.etsy.com/listing/194907333/little-litters-chloe-bat-plush?

~ Scalemate Gift ~

A scalemate I made for one of the winners of my fantroll blog giveaway. Scalemates are so simple yet take so long to finish. Weird how that goes.

Hand sewn out of fleece with a machine embroidered symbol and button eyes. Stand about 7 inches tall.

Custom Filly - Plush Commission

Knocking out some of my long overdue commissions. Slowly but surely, I will get my list of to-dos down to zero…maybe. Every time I get a good chunk done, I get like 10 more orders so it’s starting to look like I may be trapped in this endless loop forever.

ANYWAYS!
This little filly is completely hand sewn out of fleece with machine embroidered eyes. Stand about 6 inches tall.

Woops, posted this to my fan troll blog by accident…oh well. NOW IT’S HERE TOO

~ Little Litters - First Anniversary Plush ~
NOW AVAILABLE

In honor of both mother’s day and the one year anniversary of Little Litters Plush, we would like to introduce you to the mother of all bats, Maybelle!

Hand sewn out of soft white and purple patterned fleece with an adorable bow, Maybelle is three times the size of our normal bats, making her the perfect plush companion. Measuring 18 inches from wing to wing and with a body of 10 inches, she is by far our largest plushie to date!

Remember, she’s only available through the month of May so get yours while you can ~

I’m now offering custom over the collar dog bandannas for sale online. Hand made with the option to have your furry friend’s name embroidered on the front.

Even better, for every bandanna sold, I will be donating one can of dog or cat food to the local Humane Society so you’ll know your purchase will be helping out an animal in need.

Order through my store or send me a message if you’re interested ~

Came home from my brother’s fiance’s bridal shower this afternoon to find that the dogs had torn open all the orders I had packaged up to ship and destroyed all the plushies inside…looks like I’ll be pulling another 24 hour sewing shift.

So these became a bigger hit than I was expecting. They’re certainly a nice break from bats and such and just look at my happy, four-legged customers ~

I believe I will be putting these up on Etsy sometime soon and I have also opened commissions for them here as well as on my deviantArt. I have hundreds of patterned fabrics to choose from and tons of thread colors so if you’re interested, toss a note my way.

~ Safety Yellow Over-The-Collar Dog Bandannas ~

A slightly different sewing project I did the other night to break up the endless stream of bats. It’s turkey season here and rule one for dog owners is to outfit your dog with either safety orange or safety yellow, but the chances of getting my dogs to wear a vest are very slim.

So with a scrap of safety yellow and a little embroidery, I gave them each a nice little personalized bandanna that slips on over their collars. Now they are stylish ~
